How many schools will still be running XP after April 8th. We only have a few xp clients left so we will be done before the cut off, interested to see how many will not be.

I fear we will still have at least 100 machines on XP after the cut off Some PC's are just too low spec to run 7 and we won't have funds available for replacements until possibly the summer hols.

The plus is that 500+ will be on Windows 7

I voted yes only because we have some laptops that cannot run Win 7 but these are only used by the children for research so if the do get attacked then just a reinstall of XP and programs will do.

All classroom laptops have gone over to Win 7.

We have two very old laptops that run XP. They haven't been updated since the school bought them. SP1 won't run on them as they have 256mb ram. They are WORKGROUP machines so it doesn't really bother me and all USB ports are disabled so no way of being able to transfer security threats from the laptop via pen drive to our servers. They are handy for Rapid Reading which only runs on XP!

We eliminated XP from our network last Summer. The last installed instance of XP sat on 4 EasyTrace tills. We got rid of XP from the curriculum/admin network the year before [2012]

Yes apart from the Music ICT room, as the software licencing is an issue (old version of Sibelius)

Just one PC left running our Laser Cutter, most likely move it off the domain and use it locally.

I suspect we have a few things which we won't be able to replace by then - an old CNC control and more worryingly, a particular payments system.
