I have an old P3 500 Toshiba laptop. It has built in wireless card but only supports WEP. I have just purchased a new router that supports WPA2. I don't really want to lower the security level to WEP.
Can this be change by a KB patch, Driver Update etc?
I sem to remember once ready about a XP SP2 pathc released that woul ddo this but not sure?
Can this be done?

If you post back with the make and model of the wireless card ( there may be a firmware update possibly )

If its a tosh mini card, you wont be able to get a firmware update and will end up having to by a adapter as they do not support the new wirleess security there is a patch from microsoft to enaable it though if the card supports it
