3COM and Windows 2000 wireless
I'm having problems connecting a Windows 2000 comp to a network (at home).
It's a 3com wireless usb dongle and 3com access point. The access point connects my laptop easily but it wont talk to the win2k comp, it sees the network, the 3com software says its connected and the signal strength is good - but it wont share files, internet (which is from a smoothwall box) etc
Tried it with no encryption (to remove encryption associated issues)

Re: 3COM and Windows 2000 wireless
Can you ping from your Win 2000 to the AP? If so i asume that its a workgroup you have setup and not a domain network could it be permissions?
If you cant ping then ahev you tryed reinstalling the drivers, have you got the latest drivers for it?
