    Automatically detect settings

I'm thinking and wanting to allow staff's laptops to automatically detect the settings. I've written quick programs so they can switch the proxy on and off.

Just wondering if anybody else allows "automatically detect settings" and cfg the servers to do so.

    If not, how come?

    Thanks

( Hey btw to Tony from Corby who I met during the LP-Plus VLE training last Wednesday )

I've tried it and although it usually works, it's not perfect.
