Make sure all the ports needed are open on your firewall which exchange needs. think webaccess is 443.
Also i have had on one install you need to put /owa at the end of line in the address bar
eg
https://mail.{domain name}.co.uk/owa
have the same same problem... but i get to the outlook web access login page. I can login but then it says page cant be displayed...... if i refresh i am put back to the login page

Have you tried https:// ?
yes... i type in https://mail. (our domain) and i get teh login.. if i type an incorrect login it tells me that its incorrect. If i type in a correct username and password i get the page cant be displayed.
Try these for username.
domain\username
or
username@domain
Also the correct URL is http(s)://yourdomain.com/exchange
if SSL is enabled and
Tried teh different logins with no luck...
Dont need to add the /exchange if i do that i dont get the login page
Try connecting to OWA locally using the private IP or the FQDN
Unless you have changed from the defaults, you will need to add the /exchange for Exchange 2003, otherwise you will be trying to logon to the default website not OWA
eg: http://contosoexchange01/exchange
what djm968 said. also, are you connecting from outside the firewall or inside? Is the owa box inside the firewall and published via ISA?
The OWA box is inside the firewall and published via ISA.
Tried connecting from inside the firewall. if i type http://(servername)/exchange, i get teh message that the website i am connecting to needs https:// at the begining.
If i type https://(servername)/exchange, it says the page cannot be displayed.
Try firefox, IE6 has some problems with authentication for the first time
same probs with Firefox
Cant connect to OWA login page from teh mail server so think this could be where the problem is....
Looking at all the basic IIS settings and checking them. Is there any that could be causing a problem.
Have you installed a certificate for IIS on your Exchange server?
If you haven't uncheck the Use SSL and test OWA internally agian, only this time use http not https.
If the server is published, you should secure it using SSL.
