Hi,
This week we having a few problems, every time we create a new user account an Exchange e-mail address isn’t created. When we go into exchange tasks it indicates the user has a mail box because it says “delete mailbox” but the user doesn’t have an address. When we go into the account properties via active directory then the E-mail address tab there isn’t any SMTP or X400. This happens for any new user we create, it was perfectly fine last week now its decided not to work.
Your suggestions and support will be appreciated.
Z
PS: Sorry if it is in the wrong section

Have you changed your recipient policies at all?
Or changed when they run?

Are you using something to create your accounts that creates a mailbox aswell or do you do it manually?

We use active directory with the exchange admin pack by default it should make an e-mail account. It has always been done that way with no problems.

Have you tried logging on as the user and connecting to the mailbox using outlook?

Also restart the Exchange System Attendant service on the affected server and check if the mailbox is now created.

Goto recipent policy in system manager and right click the policy and go "Apply this Policy now"
