Restoring Exchange database to another server Backup Exec
As the title suggests I need to restore an exchange database file to a different server using Backup Exec 2010. The problem I have is the person who used to do this has left and I have never done this before but I can't just use re-direct files as it doesn't work for exchange database files. Most of my searches keep coming up with restoring a mailbox but I don't want to do that, I just want to restore the database file to a different server. My question is how do I do it?

restore on another server, not server specific. or are t trying to recover data?

I just wanted the file on a different server but I never noticed the option for Microsoft Exchange Redirection. I've put the path I wanted to a different server and restored it this way.
I've only ever done File redirection which doesn't work with exchange files and never noticed the additional options before...
