Just wondering what FREE compression apps people use [ if any ] for their networks and students ?
[ I personally use winrar, but what would be good for an app on a network ? ]

7zip is my preferred one for deployment but then I haven't really looked all that hard.

7zip for us. But students use integrated ZIP handling in Win Explorer.

jzip uses the 7zip engine with the added bonus of a more user friendly interface. The only problem with deploying 7zip is that it's not that friendly.
We're also using zipgenius - another user friendly option
