    Office 2003 Pro Licensing

    Hi

I'm just about to buy some (60) Office 2003 Pro licenses - anybody know of somewhere I can get a cheap deal? Best price I've found so far is around £50 a unit.

Cheers and Merry Christmas to you all.

If you buy them though Bectas software licensing framework, i think they are only £31 each.

Our local supplier - Pugh sells Office Pro at £30 too. Make sure you ask for schools price not acedemic.

Pugh, Pheonix and Ramesys are the big 3 for schools pricing. They all do deals to (buy X and Y get Z thrown in) so be prepared to negotiate. If you are after other M$ licences then you are in control. The schools pricing is also based around the Select pricing, so you may need to commit to one supplier to get the benefit of their licencing.

@SpuffMonkey: Speak to Ryan over at .ICT, I think they might have a Select agreement in place for NCC schools so you can buy them and hokk onto that one.

I've just found an Office 2003 MVL license for £5.34 under the Becta Software Licensing Framework.

Whilst you're talking about Office 2003 MVL, also consider Microsoft Encarta 2006 MVL. You can get the Premium edition for about £3 per machine. Only catch is you must buy 50 licenses or more. This is an annual license, but fanatastic value for money

Our LEA uses phoenix so we have some select licences through them but I personally now use Ramesys excellent customer service and like you say good deals too. I got a copy of exchange 2003 and 50 exchange cals last time I bought a big lot of office 2003 licences.
