It doesn't like networks!!! Although the documentation tells you how to put it on the network our LEA advice is don't. We run it on just one machine with PAT installed on the default drive C directory. The machine is on the network and is setup to do a scheduled backup to the curriculum server before the main backup kicks in. This seems to work fine, in fact I have just restored the current Year 5 data that LEA emailed me today.
If you do it this way it is pretty easy. When we first installed it, I was liaising with a guy at Warwick Uni. and it was not good. We now have a good guy at our LEA which makes life easier as the admin staff who use PAT bother him rather than me.
