Deploy driver for USB peripheral sitewide
I need to deploy drivers for a set of scanners (canon lide 70s and 90s) that will be used interchangably on ~500 workstations. What is the best method of deploying the drivers to the workstations, so that when a user (who is a local admin) logs on and attaches the scanner the drivers will be readily available, or better yet - will install without any prompting.
Would it be possible to somehow point windows to search a network share by default for drivers?

Yes you can do this, have a look at the 'Existing Windows Installations' section of this KB article.
