Inter Domain Trusts -- how do you do it

Hi,
I have been trying to set up a trust between our two domains in site. I have tried AD and netdom with out success. Am I missing something obvious like DNS entries etc

I assume all Dc`s are running server 2003 standard?

Yes they are and they are both at at SP1

What is the relationship between these domains?
Parent/Child?
Interforest?
Disparate?

Are they on the same IP segment/subnet or are they routed?

Main thing you will need is DNS resolution for DCs in each domain. You generally need to set up forwarders or secondary zones.

Do you have seperate DNS infrastructure for each domain?

Those work, but since it's 2K3 I would make stub zones.
