Has anyone has this process/application running on their machine and not known about it? Spyware programs dont seem to pick it up and i aint got a clue what it is or where is has come from. All i know is that when it runs it slows the computer right down, and on odd occasions there can be multiple processes of it running in task manager.

If anyone knows what this is, or how to get rid of it, please let me know.

Check out the PCs registry, see where abouts its in there - may give you a clue.... [ specially under the RUN and RUNONCE ]
I've googled it and got nothing unless I hit the newsgroups and then got hit with a load of Chinese links.....

Ive had a look in the registry and on google too. Cant find anything, but i reconise the logo. Will post it on here next time it shows up

Found out what this is. If anyone is using lan view 3, it is an option in the options to disable update news.

Hi - this is proving to be troublesome so it will be removed for the next version until a fix is applied.
