Default Script to assign memory card reader drive letters

We have some machines with memory card readers and when we Ghost them the memory card readers get picked up on imaged machines as 'new hardware' and therefore get assigned E:, F:, G: and H:.

This causes major headaches as there are some network drives with those letters, so we assign the memory card readers L:, M:, N: and O:

Is there a script that can do this rather than having to use Computer Management?

usbdlm my friend, search for it on the forums.

Basically allows you to assign drives letters, or in the case of the orrible media card all in ones it doens't give them a letter untill it has media in it.

Using E/F/G/H for network resources is always going to cause you problems, change it if you can. We use letters after N purely to give ourselves some flexibility and not have to worry about this sort of thing.
