Ever since upgrading to service pack 2 on my windows 2003 server I'm getting this error logged regularly on one of my DCs. We do have a global catalog server setup which is our other DC (also the exchange server); DCDIAG on both DCs passes all tests.

I've looked for the binlsvc and found that it doesn't exist anymore, presumably since updating to WDS. So, I'm guessing that the service hasn't quite removed fully and something is still referencing it?

Nothing seems to be impacted by this error, but I'd rather be rid of it to be sure.

Any clues?
