When in form view there is a vertical strip on the left hand side with a small arrow. What is this strip and how do I use to remove it?

Hi there!

The strip seems to be called 'Record Selectors' in Access 2003. To Remove it, right click the small box in the top left hand corner when in design view and select properties. Select the All tab and scroll down until you see Record Selectors. Change this from Yes to No and you should be set.

Not sure why you'd need them (never used it myself) but I'm sure someone else on here can enlighten.

The only thing i've ever noticed it do is that when you make a change the arrow changes to a pencil then you can click on it to save the changes. No idea what its for.
