Anyone know how you set this up?
In WDS I've created a Multicast transmission.
I've setup a Multicast scope in DHCP (not on WDS server)
But no effect..
What am i missing?.. how do i get the clients to pickup the multicast transmission in WDS?

still trying to get this working
Have read that I need to create a WinPE image with a file called WDSMCAST.EXE in it
However, I have tried the Command Line tool to no avail - and the WSIM crashes with an error if i try to add a WIM file to it..
OK got a bit more progress but not much
Updated the boot/install .WIM images to RC0 and created new multicast
Started one client and it started waiting - and the client details appeared in WDS
booted 2nd and 3rd client and it failed to get an IP address
When I tried to back to WDS the MMC snap-in had hung, and the only solution was to kill it & also restarted WDS via WDSUTIL
Now the strange bit..
Re-Created the Multicast transmission (new name just in case), rebooted the 3 clients which got an IP, I can select the (multicast) image, reformat the drive, but this time when i click "Next" the Image started deploying to each machine!!
Check WDS which shows my Multicast happily waiting for clients, but not picking up the 3 clients that it should have done..
Anyone been able to get this working yet?

Didn't know you could multi-cast via WDS :S

neither did I. Going to investigate this, as we just imaged over 350 PCs over the summer using WDS and will probably do the same this year so multicasting would speed things up greatly!!
