    .net Framework 3.0

Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but it seemed like the closest match.

We need to install .net Framework 3.0 prior to the next SIMS update but I seem unable to find the full, redistributable version of this from anywhere.

    Any idea?

I just use WSUS to push it out.

The links I posted are for files of 50MB and 90MB for x86 and x64 respectively. I'm pretty sure that is the full redistributable, which is what it says on the page I got the links from here

You can download the SIMS Infrastructure Upgrade (which contains everything required for the big SIMS upgrade) from Capita, but I don't have the link, sorry.

I find WSUS works fine for all our machines, wired workstations and wireless laptops etc. WSUS 3 has some good reporting tools which simply lets you know which machines have had problems installing specific updates.

Suffices-to-say that the teachers' "Curriculum" laptops (my remit) were well prepared for our SIMS summer upgrade and all necessary components were already in place, no major work required. Whilst the Admin network had to pay our LEA support team £60/hour to install components that are simple to manage with a WSUS server.
