I'm having a dumb day. All of our user areas have gone read only and I can't find out whats gone wrong!
Could someone please lst the deafult permissions for both the user area share and the users area please. At the memnet it is:
User share -
Administrators - Full control
CREATOR OWNER - blank (specials etc)
SYSTEM - Full control
Users(domain) - Modify, Read&Execute, List, Read, Write
User area -
Administrators - Full control
Username - Modify, Read&Execute, List, Read, Write
CREATOR OWNER - blank (specials etc)
SYSTEM - Full control.
What am I missing?

I have share folder perms as:
Administrators: Full
Creator Owner: Specials
Pupils(Domain OU): R&E, List, Read
Staff(Domain OU): R&E, List, Read
System: Full
and user folder perms as:
Administrators: Full
User(Domain): Modify, R&E, List, Read, Write

Hope that helps

Are the areas mapping to a share not a folder? So say N: is connected to <server>\<username>$ the share itself will need to have permissions similar to that above as well as the security permissions?
