Hi guys,
I have a pen drive here with some password protection software on it.
As usual, in My Computer, you should see two drives. One being the protected drive, the other with the software on it.
Recently, the user noticed the protected drive missing. She has never password protected the device so this drive has always been accessible.
I'm trying to locate the files and the drive but having problems.
In My Computer, the drive shown is 1.38MB
In Disk Management, the same drive is shown as 248MB with no partitions.
If you right-click on the Properties for this drive, it's shown as 1.38MB.
I've tried running the software but I'm asked to insert a device.
Any help?
Thanks.

Have you checked that the second drive is getting mapped with a drive letter? Also have you had any new mapped drives on the network later that may have stolen it's usual drive letter.

The second drive is nowhere to be seen to have a drive letter mapped. I disconnected any mapped network drives but the thing still won't appear.

No other partition visible.

7th March 2013, 11:44 AM #5 I must admit when I got my encrypted memory stick I had some initial problems getting it to load up the second partition. A very basic idea but try different USB ports that also made a difference for me for some reason, forcing it to reload the driver for the stick. Also has the user had this through the washing machine lately haha?
