My Docs access problem

Hi all,

done a new install over the summer and a member of staff has tried to access their documents but it comes up saying access to this resource has been disallowed due to restrictions in affect on this computer.

Does anyone have any points where I could start looking at. I've looked at access rights and they seem to be ok.

Any help appreciated.

Are the user's My Docs redirected? Is the user preventing from browsing the local hdd? If the user is not restricted from doing so, check where their My Docs are pointing to, by right clicking mydocs and properties. If this is restricted, open their user registry and check the value for HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders\Personal and ammend as necessary.

I've found local settings can interfere with server settings - cured by re-naming the home folder path to the full name, or to the short name.
