major issues guys
we updated all our pcs to ie7 and when we login to yahoo mail, explorer just exits, no error messages, nothing
it does the same on certain flash enabled websites
we have tried reinstalls of ie7,
we have done all windows updates and THEN installed ie7
we have uninstalled the flash player 9 and reinstalled
each time explorer just exits
it is something to do with flash, adobe website is full of 100's people with the same issue but neither adobe or microsoft say there is a problem,
we have disabled each plugin/addons for explorer but it still exits
funny thing is it even exits after u uninstall flash player 9
but works fine if you have never installed the flash player
as you know term starts soon and it wont be much fun with this headache
adobe forums
any one esle seen this

Not seen this one myself, but as far as I am aware there is an issue with Flash player 9 & IE7. I don't expect just uninstalling flash player will work as it will leave things behind.
You try a restore point to before the point that flash player 9 was installed.

restore point on 400+ pcs will kill us and also as we know its flash we are hoping there is a fix soon from Adobe or Microsoft
we will try flash version 8, hopefully that may help

Yeah I appreciate it rather too many to be doing this to. That's why I love thin client networks. If anything goes wrong like that I only have to worry about the servers. Take one out of action at a time, get it sorted & move on to the next. No running around the school, looking at fat clients (PC's).
Installing Flash 8 may help, but if anything residual is left over from flash 9, you may still have a problem. I have just downloaded the latest version of flash 9, so I don't know how long yours have been updated. You could have a look & see if the version is later than yours.

Adobe usually have tools for completely removing Flash (as opposed to simply uninstalling).
