Does anyone have a link to an iso on XP home?

We have a staff member who has mashed their XP install on their home pc, one of our techs is fixing it at home for her, but we have no copies of XP home. The PC had a recovery partition and no rescue discs but this is also mashed. I've been pointed to an win7 home iso on digital river before, can anyone oblige with a similar download for XP home? My Google Fu is not strong this morning.

    Many thanks.

It may be a good opportunity to upgrade if the PC is capable of running Win 7.

I can't link [Double filtered], but the bay where pirates hang out should have it.

Surely, this is a sign they should upgrade to Windows 7. [INB4 "It is and don't call me Shirley".]

We've offered that but they won't spend out for new stuff (it's got 512mb ram and 160gb disk) or the upgrade to 7.

I'm not going to suggest the bay of pirates to my law abiding colleagues!

    Thankyou, but no thankyou!

Microsoft don't care where you get the install disk from, they only care if the licence is legit.

It will run painful with 512MB. 1GB is the absolute minimum, but 2GB or more is recommended.

Yeah... But they are the sort of law abiding who will panic that the FBI are going to turn up at dawn for just starting a torrent client! It may be legit but the guilt will destroy them!

Gives you an excuse to keep making cups of tea though - 'waiting' for it to complete tasks. Especially with AV software running, it could take minutes to load applications!
