    How do I empty the contents of the student profile as a scheduled task...?

    How do I prevent the student profiles from growing to over 1gb in size...?

    Ideally a scheduled way of emptying would be great

    1. Redirect EVERYTHING, even the desk top - It's usually temporary files and crap on the desk top causing problems, so get them out of the profile.
    2. Disable recycle bin or
    3. I had a script from off here to empty the recycle bin after so many days... See here.
    4. Consider mandatory profiles... then they can't grow!

    Have a look at Delprof2. We use it with a startup script so any profiles that are more than a day old get deleted on our student use computers. It should also work as scheduled task if you wish to do it that way.

    That gets rid of local profiles, but doesn't shrink their size on the server.

    This is how I get rid of old profiles in gpo.

    Please only apply this to machines that have redirected the documents to the server.

    Computer Configuration
    -Policies
    --Administrative Templates
    ---System/User Profiles
    ----"Delete user profiles older than a specified number of days on system restart"
