At school I use a USB drive that contains a number of programs and files that shouldn't necessarily get into the hands of kids. Does anyone know of a (preferably free) piece of software that would password protect the drive?

Ive not used it myself but seems to do the job, creates an encrypted virtual disk

I had a go with it. I can see that it's useful, but a bit too much effort for me (you have to manually unmount the drive each time you want to unplug it...I'm a bit to absent minded to remember things like that!)Originally Posted by danIT
