I have (well, somewhere I know has) a strange little problem. The organisation in question is linked to a high school with whom they share grounds with. They have a trust in place enabling the pupils of said school to allow them to logon in the organizations training suites and pick up their desktops, user areas etc.
The problem is that all web traffic is then sent back over the link (fibre) between the two and back out through the schools proxy. We need to override this policy (IE Proxy Settings) to send the traffic through their connection. We have tried to set the local GP to point to the local proxy, but this does not work as the remote GP overrides it. How can I prevent this from happening?

Simple suggestion ... at the second site use Firefox and specify different proxy settings in there using the firefox adm.
Not nice, but it works.

You need to define your sites.

Thanks Geoff. A site wide GPO has fixed things.
