12th October 2012, 10:29 AM #2 Start > Administrative Tools > Server Manager.
At the top left you'll see Roles > File Services, then to the right, Remove Role Services. Untick what you don't require and follow the wizard instructions. Hope this helps.

Thanks yes it does will this remove the stuff from ad that integrates into it like the namespace etc.
