been using the inbuilt media server from server 2003 for just over a year, got quite alot of our schools videos on there for streaming around the school.
my problem is keeping an up to date backup. We are currently taking a ghost to take an image of the server, which isnt very efficient as we can only do this during school holidays.
does anyone know of anyway to take a backup of the pubilshing points, with either backup exec 10d or windows backup. any help would be useful.

I just use a scheduled robocopy with the /mir switch to (ATM) external USB drives. The /mir switch causes just the changed/new files to be backed up each time.
