Std Desktop Disply - i.e resolution+size

I have been asked to standardise a network rooms display propertise.

they want all desktops set at the same resolution, also they want desktop Icons and Fonts enlarged.

Tried this on a few machines but settings didnt save ??

On a 2k AD domain.

Mix of 2k and Xp boxes.

Will be upgrading to Server 2k3 shortly if that would help.

Can you not use the accessablity wizard and dump the settings to floppy? That should allow you to set large icons, resolution and save it.

Screen res/colour depth are per machine settings. Icon and Font settings are per user. I'll dig out the registry keys.

There are also some 3rd party apps like VidRes that you could use...
