Autodesk inventor 11 - Argh!
Anyone else installed Inventor 11 recently?
I bought a 20 network license pack about 4 months ago, got around to installing it recently and it's worked fine, however it comes with two additional teachers licences which are installed as single user licenses.
annoyingly I simply can't get these to activate as I can't add them onto my autodesk account as it's the same serial number. I've contacted the supplier twice (I won't name them) but they've been far from helpful and just state "
oh you can install them as single user licenses"
I know this, I just can't activate them afterwards!
I've explicitly requested activation codes for the two single licenses this morning and await replies, it REALLY annoys me when you pay a fortune for software then get messed around with installing.
*sigh* :?

This is on my list of summer jobs except we have about 50 odd licences (again a mix of network, tutor and student licences). We're still struggling to even get the licence server going. 8O
Wish they would have just kept it to good old fashioned "here's yer box with the serial number on it.. toodle pip"
Good luck.

I have spent a year on-and-off trying to get the license server to work. Fortunately the teacher who requested the software left last week, so the pressure is off a bit! LOL

Wouldn't be a FlexLM licenced product by any chance would it? If so enjoy, took me 6 weeks to get Mathcad working, but after 4 server moves of the licence server I have got it mastered

Anyone would think that with all the hoops you have to jump through, it's as if they don't want you to use the bloody software

Personally I have no intention of doing so!
