Do you use any of these on your network. We offer Assistance to certain indivduals in school but to be honest we dont use it much.
I was was just wondering what you lot do or use on your networks. Also i belive if you use Remote Desktop you have to enable a policy in Domain GPO is this correct and if has any one done it?

We use Omniquad Instant Remote Control in our Windows 2000 AD network (XP clients). AFAIK, it uses RPC and the XP "remote assistance" features, so requires no application installation on the client![]()
UltraVNC here.

Netsupport Manager is the best IMHO. Fanstasic multiplatform support and excellent remote admin tools. You also get Netsupport School bundled with it so the teachers can control classes, block internet access for a lesson or for a troublesome pupil etc. All in all, a wonderful product.
TightVNC & VNC Con here, I also use Remote Desktop to access the servers.
Dameware mini remote control here.
Famasoft Radmin. Not excellent, but good enough. Comapny are crap though, I reckon. Support is ropey too.
We also use Dameware Mini Remote Control. Best one by far!
Damn expensive tho!Originally Posted by Crusader

Untra VNC and VNC are brilliant.
We use Remote Desktop on the servers.
Ashok.
Latest version of UltraVNC no longer conflicts with windows terminal services. This means you can enable both on XP PCs and have the choice of RDP and VNC.
And supports Windows User Authentication.![]()

Netsupport manager here, love it, best thing sinced sliced bread
Dameware here... home-scripted VNC gubbins at the last place. No complaints with either really.
