    Exchange 2003 - screwed

Ok E2k3 died and have been trying to rebuild it..

I've deleted all the mailboxes, uninstalled it, and then removed traces from ADSI and from ADS&S...

Rebooted everything and re-installed E2k3 (on new box)..
    Created mailboxes again
reconfigured outlook on test pc to point to new Server - only to get the delightful

"Bookmark Not Valid" when trying to check the name/mailbox - ARGH!
found that there were no permissions on Auth Users (same for Everyone but not sure if i need them set) so added permissions

Tried again.. this time i get "Name cannot be matched to a name in the address list"

Checked in ADUC - users have mailboxes BUT no SMTP addresses (eg test@domain.local)

    WTF?

Rebooted DC & Exchange - no luck

At a loss - tried all the relevent support KBs to no avail (rebuilt OAB, etc, left it a day to replicate - nada.)

Anyone else had this or know how to resolve it?
