SP1!! More like RC1. This is how it should have been on release. Microsoft couldn't retatin any credability if it slipped further from the origional release date. It may actually become useful after this.

Shame there's little information on what the contents of SP1 is likely to be. It's obviously not going to be a security patch and update roll up like XP SP2 was. So, what's going to be in it?
This is only marketing bluff, for the people who say "I'll get Vista when the first service pack comes out"

Maybe it will be some of the features they culled from the actual release... As it doesn't actually have many new features.

WinFS and PowerShell in one SP? Did you just see that flying pig? :P
