Default Windows Vista SP2 out today?

Hi,

I have bene told by a few people and from the internet that today, 26th May 2009 will be the release date of Windows Vista SP2. Can anyone confirm this?

I heard this rumour too, I don't know if its true or not, it’s got todays date in Wikipedia, i'm getting bored of waiting for it now.

I got the notification from VLS a few weeks back (think it was released at the start of the month). The two server rebuilds today have been straight Svr 08 SP2 builds as the combined slipstream is also on Technet and VLS. Seems a bit quicker on the same hardware - particularly the MMC consoles. Going to do an inplace upgrade on one of the other boxes later. Not tried the Vista SP2 upgrade yet - but its the same SP, so should be the same scenario I expect.

WOW! Just installed it. My computer seems to fly quite a bit faster and network discovery tasks in NetSupport Manager have flown!!!
