RDP and external hard drive issue

    Hi there,

We have a SonicWall SSLVPN box. I use it to connected to my desktop at work from home. I have 2 external hard drives connected at the moment and they do no appear on a RDP connection. When i go onto the machine on the console its fine.

I will try rdp using Windows Remote Desktop but just wondering if anyone has had the same issues?

Are the harddrives connected to the local machine or the machine your remoting into?

depending on which one, sometimes you need to change your "fowarding" settings:

Can you try mounting them into an NTFS folder in disk manager rather than assigning them a drive letter? I know this doesn't really solve your problem but it would certainly rule one or two things out.
