    Vista GP's

Are there group policy templates that will allow me to control VIsta (and all of its new features) under Windows Server 2003 R2. Have trouble atm as Server 03 isn;t supporting .admx files.

    Cheers

I don't think so, you need to wait for Server 2008. They've just released an RC0 you can download and take a look at.

No, you need to upgrade to Windows Server 2008 to properly lock down Vista.

I think there is some limited support, you have to place them in a new folder on the DC and can only edit them with a vista machine. There is some Microsoft documentation for it somewhere. As it was all a bit fiddly I decided to stick with xp until 2008 is out.

I have managed 110% fine using a Vista machine joined to my 2003 domain, it worked fine for me.
