Offline files with server 2012
This is our scenario:-
* Move all user folders from Server1 (2003) to Server2 (2012)
* Flatten and rebuild Server1 with 2012
* Copy all user folders back from Server2 to Server1
Since then I've had a number of users with problems of files/folders not auto-syncing when on the network (user logged in on laptop and desktop - updates a file on the desktop and it doesn't appear on the laptop)
I've also had users able to browse to a folder using internet explorer, yet if they try and save a file into the same folder, they get a message saying the location does not exist. I've tried this with both Word 2010 and Smart Notebook.
Has anyone else had any similar issues, and what was the resolution?
