We are experiencing slow logons (win 7) of approx 10 mins when we use roaming profiles - logoff time varies from under 10m seconds to 5 mins.
If we don't use roaming profiles the logon / off is virtually instant.
This is a new install of Server 2012 R2, user accounts are all test users, so profile sizes are really small. All GPOs have been disabled. Event logs detail:
The winlogon notification subscriber <Profiles> took 357 second(s) to handle the notification event (Logon).
There are no other errors in the event logs.
Any advice would be appreciated....
Have you got the enterprise hotfix rollup installed on windows 7?
Also this article (http://social.technet.microsoft.com/...gons-sbsl.aspx) is a great starting point to a) understanding the logon process, and b) collect details from all the processes running so you can see exactly what is taking the time.
