Lightbulb System Imaging Software on Server 2008 & 2012 ?

    Hi Guys,

About to invest in new backup/recovery software after a recent near disaster !

Got a mixture of physical 2008 servers and virtual 2012's (VMWare) and a Linux box.
Currently using Acronis Backup & Recovery (rubbish and unreliable) on the physicals and Veeam free on the VM's (pain cos no scheduling).

Been looking at Veeam Enterprise (for VM's) and/or Symantec System Recovery Server Ed (for both)

Need to do a nightly backup onto NAS.

What are you guys using for scheduled imaging on your servers?

    Cheers in advance ; )

Google a suitable imaging software would be a greate choice

    System Imaging Software on Server 2008 & 2012 ?

There are a lot of imaging software that used for image backup software for Windows Server 2012/2003/2008, like Server disk image software. You can use it to simply backup server system to image file. Just goolge a suitable one for your needs. Certainly, many of them only free to test.

    Veeam all the way.

Left Symantec as soon as Veeam supported tape drives

Veeam won't do physical machines, just VM's right ?
