    Moving iscsi lun

    Hi

I want to move my iscsi lun from a server 2008 box to a server 2012 box. If I do this will it keep all the ntfs permissions? That is what is like to happen. Then I can restore the share permission reg file from 2008 to 2012 by doing this?

From the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE subtree, go to the following key:
    SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Sha res

    Will this work?

What you have said is the best way to do it and ntfs permissions will remain.
