I'm wanting to get rid of TMG (Installed on 2008R2) because it now discontinued and preferably I would just like to have all the servers on 2012R2. This is not last one on the curriculum network.
We only use the reverse proxy on this so over the top for what we need.
I can get all the sites working it seems, annoying anything I publish it requires it to be https
2x Wordpress Sites - Is there a plugin or something to change data in the database for any url/links pointing to a http source to stop annoying message saying there are insecure items because there linked to a http link I'm assuming.
Other problem I have is any site doesn't redirect to https so it comes up with an error saying 'this page can't be displayed' or takes you to the search engine deepening on the browser and when you click on the site on the search it cant get to the page because its going to http
Any ideas how to redirect this? are we looking at the domain name provider (123REG)? IIS server? Council (VCONN) We have cnames going to there servers
Its strength is for SSO for Exchange/Lync/Sharepoint... But it can do pass-through, and it uses mechanisms that are compatible with Windows Store Apps, which will become more and more important to us all over the next few years.
