After a power outage I now get this from DC2
NTDS settings work fine from DC1 & DC3 and both pass dcdiag fine.Testing server: mysite\DC2
Starting test: Advertising
Warning: DsGetDcName returned information for

SERVER IS NOT RESPONDING or IS NOT CONSIDERED SUITABLE.
......................... DC2 failed test Advertising
DC2 has no sysvol either
There are no DFSR errors in any logs to indicate failed replication.
The IT fairies have smiled upon me!
Then -The DFS Replication service stopped replication on volume C:. This occurs when a DFSR JET database is not shut down cleanly and Auto Recovery is disabled. To resolve this issue, back up the files in the affected replicated folders, and then use the ResumeReplication WMI method to resume replication.
Seems I missed that one in the logs as its a warning and not an error! The DFS Replication service has detected an unexpected shutdown on volume C:. This can occur if the service terminated abnormally (due to a power loss, for example) or an error occurred on the volume. The service has automatically initiated a recovery process. The service will rebuild the database if it determines it cannot reliably recover. No user action is required.
Passes dcdiag fine now - fingers crossed
