Perhaps not with only 9 VMs, but when running 40 odd I think so. We are probably about 85-90% virtualised with only a few things running on physical servers such as configmgr, dpm, scvmm.

Think I'll probably stick with the single LUN. We have 95% of our servers virtualised, we just don't need very many for our setup.

I see my setup as being like this:

    1 ISCSI SAN
    2 Switches in stacked configuration
    3 Nodes

Networking wise I'm thinking, 4 subnets, x2 ISCSI, LM/CSV & Main Network. I'd set each node with 8 NICs as this:

    NIC1 - ISCSI 1
    NIC2 - ISCSI 2
    NIC3&4 - Teamed for LM/CSV
    NIC5-8 - Teamed for VMs/Main Network.

    Any thoughts/suggestions

Looks good. Not sure about teaming LM and CSV, I would keep them separate and then you just sent a higher metric on one which defines whether it is used for live migration traffic or csv traffic. I can't really comment on how the teaming would work as with 2008 R2 you can do it 'out of the box' like you can in 2012.
