Thumbs up Firewall Server? [Clients -> Server -> Router]

    Hi Guys,

I have a busy family household at home, and I want to use a home server, but also use it for a firewall so I can block ports and stuff.
I bought a small HP server and a 2nd network adapter how could I make this into a firewall server?

It will be running Server 2008 R2 Enterprise.

Get rid of server 2008 and use PFSense firewall - it's a free distro from the net built on FreeBSD.

It will do everything you want.

pfSense Open Source Firewall Distribution - Home
