exchange 2007 cert problem,
Typical come into expired self signed cert on a monday.
I got the new cert up and running using Exchange Server 2007: Renewing the self-signed certificate | Exchangepedia all well and good.
but clients are still getting the popup but with "the security was issued by a company you have not chosen to trust etc..."

If you've got Certificate Services set up on your network you can issue your own Exchange certificate - if you push the root certificate onto your network PCs (via GP) your Exchange cert will then be trusted. You'll still get the same popup on client's own machine though unless you either buy & install a commercial certificate for your root or get users to install a copy of your network root cert on their own machines.

yep, that did it thanks for the pointer, only problem was with the original article - had to create another cert with export enabled
Been meaning to get a commercial cert for a while, users using owa from home have been getting the cert issue for a year now!
