Default SCSI Drivers

I'm currently trying to build an old-ish RM server which has an Intel SRCZCR Raid controller. The windows installation is recognising the drives, which are set in RAID 5 but I cannot do anything with them.

I cannot delete drives, cannot resize or remove partitions. People may remember the original CC3 C:\ drive partition was 12Gb. We want to remove this and re-partition.

So - for some reason I cannot do it and assume I need to install drivers.

Can anyone advise as to whether this is the case or am I missing something. If it is drivers - I cannot find them on the Intel website - only 2003 drives, but when I load these in the drives dissapear (even after a rescan).

Any help appreciated,

Gareth

Default

Normally if you can see the array, then the RAID driver must be loaded. What you could try is booting from a Server 2003 disc, installing drivers (as required) or even better, slipstream the drivers using nLite.

Delete the partitions using Server 2003 setup, then create new partitions as appropriate then quit setup. Then proceed to boot off a 2008 disc and install directly.
