remote apps problem
Hello all i have been playing with the remote app feature of 2k8 and have ditrubuted apps via rdp and msi the problem i have is that if i launch the app on any machine other than the actual 2k8 server it just launches a normal rdp session. (i have tried win2k3 and xp).
At this point it asks me for a server to connect to in the same way it would if you run mstsc.exe from the run command, where it should ust launch the remote app, clearly i am missing a vital piece of configuration but what??? any ideas as always gratefully excepted.
thanks in advance

16th June 2009, 09:16 PM #2 Are you running the latest version of the RDP client? I am not sure it's the cause, but a good place to start.
Remote Desktop Connection (Terminal Services Client 6.0)
