Anyone using the QCA Testing software that uses PostgreSQL on Server 2008?
I'm hoping they've forgotten about it here so I can get all that junk off the server at some point. Sorry I can't help with your query though.. ours is sat on a WS2003 machine.
Its produced by RM so they probably dont even know server 2008 exists.
Yep it's currently hanging around on one of our 2003 servers but it's still in use![]()
did use it a couple of years ago but not since it was no longer mandatory and to be used for levelling purposes only.
Yep still using it here they did some science tests using the DPS software were a lot better to be honest than the old ICT tests more drag & drop & multiple choice much easier to set up less issues. Its sitting on one of our 2003 Servers. Apparently the results were better than some of the same tests done on paper so they are looking at expanding these.

We still use it here and to be honest works well no problems. Also very good at testing levels etc.
Don't get me started through as might have to rant as worst thing did was get rid of the tests but that is my view..

I'm trying to set this up atm... I have a clean 2K8 server and have copied the cd's data to the C: drive but it doesn't seem to run - should it? I need this up and running by the end of next week because of ELBS exams taking place using it![]()

Is the setup failing or the server software?

I now have this installing - I needed to install all updates to server 2008 and also be logged onto the actual computer (not through mstsc).
How sucsessfull I will be is unknown - it's a horrible installer!
Should I have IIS or similar installed on the server for this or does something get installed?

Shouldn't need iis as it has its own client (well qca one does so assume the other do as well.)

I can see tomcat running but I can't load the page in ie
I forget if it's port 443 only... Can you get anything out of it with telnet/wget/curl? Is the server listening on 80/443 when you run netstat. Do you have IIS running on the server already?
