    Network Access Protection

    Hi,

    Who runs NAP or has NAP ruuning in a test environment? Please can you give a little background into your setup? How does it work with non Windows Clients?

    I am trying to get my dead arround it

    Don't even know what it is, which means that I possibly should be looking at it. Is it specific to Server 2008?

    We are specifically after Microsoft NAP rather than asking a solution to a problem.

    Plenty of other threads for that

    As far as memory goes when I looked into it, quite deeply... the NAP provided in S2k8 supports ONLY windows machines XP SP3 onwards. No idea if R2 has added support for any other OSes...

    Most people recommended the Microsoft NAP and an additional NAP to go with it though, no idea if it's still the same case

    There's a collection of APIs that will allow other vendors to be supported it should eventually support Linux and OSX.
