Hi
The is a service i wish to enable and start on client machines. I have set it up in group policy so the service sartup is automatic and service action is set to start service. On the clients the service is now set to automatic but it is not starting. It doesn't even start after a reboot.
I have tried gpupdate /force.
It seems to make changes to the service but not getting it going.
any suggestions please?

Have you checked your RSoP results to see if something else is overwriting the GP entry?
Have you checked Event Log in case something on the local machine is wrong?
Can you start it manually?

Sorry forgot to reply
It suddenly kicked into action this morning. Not sure why it didn't work yesterday. Never mind
